The kids arrived in the afternoon after stopping for an airboat ride in the Everglades. Jack is missing his 2 front teeth and Molly looks so tall to us. So good to have them all here.
After French toast for breakfast and Grandpa reading a story—”Grumpy Grandpa”—we went to the Flea Market. We spotted a few key deer on Big Pine and saw a big iguana at the Blue Hole.
A pot luck was scheduled for the afternoon and was moved into the clubhouse as the weather was so cold and windy. The kids wouldn’t try the fresh oysters and shrimp, but did love the cupcakes and dancing to the music we had playing.
We cleaned up after our potluck and then it was time for ice cream—Sundaes on Saturday! Rich, our resident magician, amazed the kids with a magic trick. He tore up a paper napkin, put the pieces in their hands and had the kids say the magic words over their cupped hands. They were astonished to discover the napkin whole and untorn.
I leave you with a few more cute photos of Jack and Molly at the clubhouse.
