SSK, WEEK 12, FEB. 17, 2010

 

Weather continued cool, so we decided to head up to Theater of the Sea.  We stopped in Islamorada and had lunch at Island Grill and sat in their new outdoor seating area.  It was nice and cozy in the sun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had a busy afternoon at Theater of the Sea.  We started with the sea lion show.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We took a boat ride on Dolphin Lagoon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We saw a turtle released back into its pond and many other animals.

SSK, WEEK 12, MARDI GRAS DINNER-DANCE, FEBRUARY 16, 2010

 

After getting some rest, we once again met at the clubhouse to celebrate Fat Tuesday with a dinner dance.  The menu reflected the holiday and we were all amazed to discover that the ‘gator was delicious—tasted like chicken!  Both Jack and Molly surprised us by having second helpings.  They also made quick work of the Mardi Gras cake!  We all cleaned up good and you would never guess who we had been in the parade…..
