SUNSHINE KEY, DEC. 29-JAN. 6, 2011

We arrived back in the Keys to find that they now have opened the old bridge on the other side of our island.  Hank is especially happy as he likes to take a morning walk up to the 7 Mile Bridge each day.

Lots of old friends have arrived for the season and we shared an evening welcoming back Bob and Penny and Mike and Margie.

Our group shared a potluck dinner to celebrate New Year’s Eve.  We started earlier in the afternoon as the evenings get to be pretty cool once the sun has gone down.  We all are looking forward to 2011 and our winter here in paradise.

We attended the pancake breakfast in the clubhouse to start the new year.  Don did a great job on the pancakes.

We held our first official Bean Bag Tournament of the season and were so grateful not to be bundled up in jackets and scarves like last year.
