We pulled in behind our condos late Saturday afternoon, April 9. As always, our condo looked huge to us after spending the whole winter in the motorhome. We will take our time over the next several days getting unpacked and resettled. We are just grateful for the safe travels and that the freezing temperatures are no longer here in Michigan.
Even though we missed Molly’s actual birthday, we were able to share in the family celebration a week later. It is hard to believe she is 6 years old already.
Okay, what did I say about freezing temperatures being behind us? We woke up to snow and have had to turn the heat back on in the condo.
We visited with my brother, Mark, at his new place and are so pleased to see him so happy there. We joined my other brother, Mike, for lunch and had fun catching up on things.
It also felt good to join up with our Friday night dinner gang here at home and hear about everyone’s winter. Do you notice we are all wearing sweaters again??
We babysat Jack and Molly and think they are getting too big for their old swing set.
After getting up to watch the Royal Wedding at 4:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29—didn’t everyone do that?—we had a busy Saturday. Jack’s soccer game was cold and muddy, but he is really getting into the game now and scored 5 goals for us to see.
Kathleen sent these photos from California of their Easter camping week-end and also Garrett has moved up in Boy Scouts.
